Why just why Beyoncé why did you need to ruin a perfectly good song

Love it so much!

Title says it all. But for those of you who want an explanation: I am a long time Ed Sheeran fan. I’ve been listening to him since the A Team. I love all of his music. However, I was severely let down by this version of one of his best songs. Right off the bat, the bgm is completely different. Ed’s vocals are the same as the og, but that’s where it stops. Once Beyoncé starts, my interest ends. She (and maybe Ed, but I’m too biased to see it) just wants a #1 and ruining a “perfect” (pun intended) song was the only way she could do it. I understand some people like this, but tbh it’s probably just the Bey fans not the Ed fans. In short: Beyoncé ruined it.

Why Beyonce? Sounds so disjointed and off. Much better as a solo.

OMG I CANT STOP LISTENING TO IT! ITS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SONG! LOVE IT! (I don’t like Beyoncé as a person) but overall this is an amazing song to listen to!

I enjoy this song. I don’t usually listen to it, but I have heard it in the Sing 2 Movie, which I really LOVE right now. Btw, Beyoncé, I am okay with your singing, and I’m sorry people hate your singing, and if you hate Beyoncé in this song, I respect your opinion. Beyoncé doesn’t make the song better, but she doesn’t make it worse. Both of you, keep up the good work

The very first time I heard this duet version I instantly fell in love with the combined powerhouse vocals that are Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé!! Keep it up Ed and Beyoncé!! Plz bring more of these kind of duet covers for years to come!!
