Gotta say, not their best work, but at least a few juicy breakdowns to keep me amused

Growing on me

At first I was a little disappointed with this album but it has grown on me. Bloodletter, Empty Heaven, and Defender are ABR at their best.
Good but not great.

I enjoy this album but for some reason It has moments throughout that bother me musically and lyrically. Beyond disappointed that Jake doesn’t write the lyrics on this album that he is singing. The passion seems lost in the vocals on some songs a little more than other releases from ABR, and it seems Jake has been taking more of a back seat lyrically for the last 3 - 4 albums. Definitely not a good decision from the band on that one. Altogether though this album is a good metalcore jam to play every once in a while, but the production and direction of it seems a little flat at times. I think an Adam D produced album with a little more hands on approach from each and every member working together would do ABR justice going into the future.
FIRE!!!

Too much synchronized sound

Def true to ABR, but each song in this album sounds like it has too much synthesizer. Still a good album.

Hand down, this is the best band in their genre. Their entire catalog is consistent and extremely well executed. This record is a lot to take in at first but after a few listens it will catch you. Have fun.
Stunning
