I respect dua’s artistry and the way she evolves with each album, and her stage presence also grew tremendously, she took constructive criticism and she proved to be a strong performer and vocalist 🎹✨⭐️

Houdini carried this whole album. If it wasn’t there this album would’ve been a 4.0 on Pitchfork. Dua, you need to make a better album next time or else you’re gonna fall off. This album has no special qualities.

Dua’s new album, takes her to the next level. It is beautifully written with the beats of a pop heart. The opening number “End of an Era” gives us the beginning of a love story, however, later we discover the highs and lows of a true love. From “These Walls” to “How Long” till the heartbreak of “Happy For You”, I truly can say I enjoyed this album a lot, shared tears through “Happy For You”. Is this album a masterpiece? If we are talking about the masterpiece of love then yes, I say yes. Dua is very unique in what she is doing, and let’s face it - We love her.

If you listen to this album and come out of it thinking “lackluster” “monotonous” or “manufactured”, objectively speaking, you listened to something that wasn’t THIS album. Carefully meticulously placed references in between thought provoking lyricism spotlighted by vocals that variate to convey the ever changing nuances in the conversation that IS Radical Optimism. Dua has elevated her sound while staying true to her artistic roots and is a masterclass in curating an album of this caliber. 10/10

Outstanding production. Album Of The Year! Highlights for me are These Walls, Happy For You, Illusion, French Exit, End Of An Era, Houdini and Falling Forever. Dua needs to release a deluxe edition. I feel the album needs atleast 4 more songs. Overall great job!
