Vivid lyrics, great voice, and rhythms that move you. Not my usual jam, but the album as a whole is a well executed fusion of hip hop, folk, and country. I came across Shaboozey by chance (I’m an old dude and don’t really listen to the radio), and instantly recognized something unique. I agree with other reviews that Shaboozey could do without the autotune, as his voice is great on its own. And quit sweating about what genre the album should be and simply enjoy the music.
