The album itself is solid. But it’s dated. Normani should’ve released Dopamine in 2021 after releasing Candy Paint. Everyone was anticipating that song, I’m almost certain it’d have redefined her career as an R&B star. I’m still flabbergasted by how her team rolled out her album. I’m 100% convinced that there was some RCA political shenanigans behind the scenes that made the rollout for this album murky. That confusing rollout was an absolute disaster and it definitely torpedoed what was left of her mainstream career. I still believe Normani can make a big comeback, but she’d have to leave RCA, and sadly I don’t see that happening any time soon 🥲

Wonderful album she made and I can’t wait to hear more music. And those who came here to be negative about it, well go touch some grass.

Wow I didn't even know this came out or that she still had a career because I mean at this point, who even cares anymore? People only pretend to like her "cause she's black and she's female" give me a break. Anyway, this is trash as you would expect. Terrible lyrics, lazy, dumb songs, autotuned vocals, and half of the time you can't even understand what she is saying. What kind of shallow, pathetic loser would like this trash? She is definitely somebody who should have never went solo, to be honest even when she was in 5h she was never even anything special. To make matters worse, she has a song on here with Farti B. Really? That should be enough to tell you that she is yet another "artist" who you should actively avoid, and someone who you should never give your time to, let alone your money, since she has no artistic integrity or authenticity.

Definitely my most played album in 2024! Looking forward to visuals and whatever else is next from Normani!

I was expecting more with her being in the game this long. I mean this is definitely not her best, but I’ve heard worst coming from the veterans in the game. Plus, with this being her 1st album, it’s definitely not bad at all.

Normani’s buttery voice works so well with the slinky and sweaty upbeat pop tracks on this album as well as the more vulnerable tracks when she needs to slows it down. If you’re a Janet/ Brandy fan you’ll really love it!🖤 Pure Pop/RnB excellence!
