I'm in love with the trance songs in this album. "Sad Café" and "Masquerade" are key tracks. This album is not that bad for someone who hasn't made an album in years.

I can't believe I just found this 3 yrs after its release. I'm so bummed ! I could have been jammin' all this time! You sound great as ever. I wish kids today could hear you and get swept away with your unique sound. I bet none of us reviewing this are under 40. (I'm over 50!) I wanna take this sweet pop confection and force feed it to them!!! I've loved you from the beginning and still do. Kisses!

This was the album title when Stacey Q. was on "the Facts of Life" with Tootie and George Clooney! The music is not the same ; (

After over a decade of silence, Stacey Q finally released new music in 2010. It falls under the category of "electronica." While it's good to have her back, there's nothing all that special about this release. The best song by far is "Trip," and the album version isn't even the strongest one. OTOH, the Casbah mix of "Trip" (which you'll have to purchase separately) ranks right up there with the best of her songs. It has a dreamy, "trippy" quality--and a great chorus. At least this song was worth the wait. The rest of the album kind of all blends together. There really aren't any bad songs, but most of them lack memorable hooks. The hard-edged "Going Goth" is interesting, "Cinnamon Girl" has a soft, inviting quality, and "Fast Getaway" (which I believe is a bonus track) has its moments. For the most part, though, the album doesn't go anywhere and suffers from a lack of variety. Although Stacey doesn't "make a fool of herself" with this release, it just doesn't "connect." My recommendation: Get the Casbah mix of "Trip," and buy this album only if you're a diehard Stacey Q fan. If you're new to Stacey Q, I would recommend "Hard Machine" or "Nights Like This" as a good starting point.

I am a HUGE Stacey Q fan and have everything she has ever released on CD and when I bought this album I was so blown away by its dance floor anthems !!! I mean seriously it's 1986 all over again !! What can I say "Trip", "Pandora's Box" , " Euphoria" , "Masquerade" , "Voices In My Head" and "Below The Surface"are sure fire club sensations not to mention "Candy Apple" and the rest of the album. I love her previous albums "Better Than Heaven" , "Hard Machine" , "Nights Like This" and "Boomerang" plus let us not forget the "Greatest Hits" album which is mostly her first album hits and hits with her first band SSQ which are also amazing tunes .... but "Color Me Cinnamon" is simply the best album of Stacey Q's career. All I can say is if you love Stacey Q , dance music or great synth pop this album is just for you !! Thank you Stacey .... I- I - I - I - I - I NEED YOU !!!!!

I can't stop listening to this CD. I am addicted. She reminds me of Kylie Minogue with a New Wave Punk/Pop Flare. While "Trip" is my fav song on the CD there are so many other great songs as well. This should had been the 2nd album released after "Better Than Heaven." This is such a long-waited unexpected gem!!!!! Below are my highlights: 1. Trip 2. Masquerade 3. Below The Surface 4. Euphoria 5. Voices in My Head 6. Pandora's Box 7. Sad Cafe 8. Candy Apple 9. Behind the Eight Ball
