  • This album is AWESOME

I seriously have no idea why people complain about this album. While this album is not his strongest work (that honor goes to Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor) but it is still solid overall. The additional tracks that feature Joey Jordison of Slipknot drumming are also awesome and definitely add to the album. In addition to this, I also like that Zombie changed up “Mars Needs Women” into two tracks, giving the instrumental portion its own track. One of the things I like about Zombie is that he uses instrumental songs, something most metal artists do not do. In addition to this, Devil’s Hole Girls and the Big Revolution, Jesus Frankenstein, Sick Bubblegum, What?, and Mars Needs Women are all very solid opening tracks. While the rest of the album does take a step down from this, point, the rest of the album is still thoroughly enjoyable, despite the new sound. The new tracks are awesome and give the album a new perspective. If you like Zombie, you should definitely purchase this.

Vintage ZOMBIE.. reminiscent of "Halloween (She Get So Mean)" off the 1998 release Halloween Hootenanny

This is Rob Zombies beat album to date in my opinion. It mixes the styles from previous albums with the style that i thought was unique to the educated horses album. Great album i just wish i hadn't waited as long as i did to purchase it.
  • Virgin Witch < Freya

I had written this before but it was somehow deleted when iTunes changed things around, even though my other handful of reviews were not effected. Virgin Witch is a complete knock-off of the great song "Freya" by the band The Sword. Anyone who says the beginning is not EXACTLY the same is sadly mistaken. And don't put all the blame on John 5 either; he's a piece of crap but it also falls back on Rob too.
  • Love it

  • Not his Best, But its Still a Good Record

To be fair, it is a good record, although it does have some crappy songs such as the albums single "What?" and the last 2 tracks,"Man who Laughs" and "Michael" and "Werewolf Women of the SS" is pretty average on the record. Other then those, this isnt a bad album (definitely get this release, the standard edition is kinda pointless). Most of the songs are the classic cheesy Zombie that fans of his know and love I would recommend fans definitely purchase the First Track, "Virgin Witch" "Dream Factory" and "Mars Needs Women" without a doubt. Imho tho, this album wouldnt have gotten that bad of a rap from a number of fans if it wasn't called "HellBilly Deluxe 2", those are some big, multiplatinum selling shoes to fill and, even though its a good effort by Zombie and his crew, the album just shouldn't have been given the title.... although if they made the rest of the record's sound like the first track, it might have been able to live up to the name. Id recommend giving this album a go if you liked most things Zombie has doen since "Make Them Die Slowly" to present.
  • Good!
