John Legend has become a politically out spoken activist…I don’t share his liberal views…once you do that, it’s over!

Songs sound fresh but as usual I wanna dance and that’s good it’s music🎼it should make you wanna do something relax grab your partner or the broom and just free yourself and dance and turn it up loud. John keep bring us stuff music to chill by. I can imagine sitting by a pool at a high glass hotel and just chilling to the tunes or listening to this music at a cigar bar drinking bourbon 🙏🙏❤️❤️

So many of these songs are just same note, same lyric, same beat songs; Legend has a sultry voice most effective in ballad work; Not very creative; I actually enjoyed the instrumental intros the most, which sadly says a lot.
  • Good, not great

First two albums will always be too tough for JL to live up too. This album has some good tracks for sure, but as a whole, it’s just alright. May grow on me after another listen

The album cover is cool I believe this is the first time of seeing a black and white, the songs are okay. I mean they aren’t terrible and to be honest I was never from before really into classical music but I’m into it now slowly but surely
  • Hmmm 🧐

"Daylight" is good... although the idea of two greats collaborating for an entire album sounds like a peak storm, the rain never falls... instead, these songs just drift on by...

It's not gonna be Get Lifted or Once Again. That's the problem, there's little interest in listening to these artist's albums after they've been in the game 20 years, we know they'll never outdo themselves or their primes. There's a reason we go bck to the classics but most of the modern output gets forgotten. Not even cause it's just bad, just mid-tier and never up to the previous standard they set 15-20 years ago. It's disappointing honestly.
