  • Still amazing till this day

It’s February 18, 2019 and this album is still being listened to after all these years. Now that right there has to tell you something about Stevie Nicks. To top it all off I’m 16 years old. She’s still reaching so many age groups after four decades. FOUR. She’s just an all around incredible human being. Getting over a very serious drug addiction. Working in a band and still producing a record breaking album even when she didn’t get along with everyone. Being the first woman inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice one as a group and one as a solo artist. That takes so much talent.

What appeals to me about this one is Stevie adapting to new musical trends. Apart from the hits, I really like “Sister Honey”, “Imperial Hotel” (sparked by the presence of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers), and “Some Become Strangers“. More typical of Stevie’s style are the title track and “Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You”, one of her best ballads. As another reviewer pointed out, how about an expanded and remastered version of this album, like the two/three disc versions of her first two?

I saw her live in Seattle. I was easily the third youngest person there. I love you so much Stevie, you've inspired me so much, to continue my life and enjoy the world.

This album has been called bad. By Stevie, by Fishkin, by Goldberg, and by Olsen. But really this Album is her most incredible creation. Stevie has always been related to by everyone, and here she isn't. This album is a pot of tragedy, sadness, and addiction, surrounded by very likable pop music and catchy lyrics. This is great for anyone who likes Nicks, but Amazing for anyone going through anything, Stevie is there for you. Not one minute feels like filler.

I absolutely love this album. You can never go wrong with Stevie. BUT... iTunes, you misspelled some of the song titles, and it drives me INSANE!!! You guys have "Rock A Little (Go Ahead Lily)" listed as "Rock a Little (Go Ahead Lily)", "I Sing For The Things" listed as "I Sing for Things", "Talk To Me" listed as "Talk to Me", and "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" listen as "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You".... PLEASE FIX THIS

The closing ballad 'Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You' will move anyone, while the music of 'Beauty & The Beast' is incredibly powerful, the lyrics of this one make me love it even more. Really like this album though I think Bella Donna is my favorite from the 80s but this is still great.'Talk To Me' is another favorite.I think this might be her most uplifting album of the decade. Great all across the board.
  • The only solo album of hers I can listen to again and again.

I'm not the biggest Stevie nicks fan. I can appreciate her early fleetwood Mac work but I could never get into her solo work. This album is great however. The 80s pop rock vibes are some of the strongest I've ever heard from any Pop rock album of that decade. Truly an album that stands alone in her solo career in my book.

I've been a Fan of hers, since I was a little girl , no one can write the lyric's like the lyrics she writes she was special then and still is God has blessed us with a beautiful song writer and singer. Her gift will not be competed with. Every one that was recording alums in the early 1980s well female artist anyway kinda faded away but not Stevie. And she still belting out music and sounding great and looking it to. I knew then she'd be singing and Entertaining us for many years to come, Thank you,Ms Nicks for all your great music and your voice your still the BEST!!!!:-)))))

This is (some say) the best - before getting sober - album for Stevie. She was in a relationship with J. Iovine and he left in the middle of it all, she said. Stevie was about to enter rehab for a cocaine addiction. She said her doctor had told her that she had a hole in her nose and that her next "toot" could well be her last. However, this album was made, obviously, before rehab. I like all the songs on this album. My fave track, besides the obvious "Talk To Me," is the cocaine drenched "I Sing For the Things." After rehab - sometime in 1986 - she continues to make albums that any Stevie fan would love, but her best work was behind her at that point, but I still buy every album she makes as there is something really good to be found in all of them - if not the entire album...
