Got this years ago, but I'm still listening to it. If you're a fan of Stevie's 1978 - 1985 era, you should get this album. Most of these songs were written during that time, and floated around as demos for years. These are newly-recorded versions of those very strong songs that simply never made it on to a Fleetwood Mac or solo Stevie LP. Even better, producer Dave Stewart really captures the late 70's / early 80s pllished rock vibe (with a few modern updates, of course). Stevie's voice is full of passtion and conviction. The result is one of her strongest solo albums - I'd say it's right up there with Bella Donna, Wild Heart, and Trouble in Shangri-La.

Why 'Twisted' is here I'm not sure, but I LOVE the version. All around classic album of Stevie's. Wonder if she'll do another like this. An incredible collection of songs, even though 'Carousel'isn't her's she still does what she does with any song not her's; makes it her own and you almost think she wrote it. My favorie songs are 'Belle Fleur' & 'She Loves Him Still', wonderful, beautiful collection of songs. 'Also really love 'Starshine' & of course 'Lady', rock on Gold Dust Woman! She rocks me!

This is one of my favorite CDs of Stevie Nicks's. It has the classic rock feel of a true rock goddess. Way to go! Excellent job on the production... Took me back to her rock and roll sound of the early 80s. Saw her last fall with Fleetwood Mac and her stage performance was spectacular. Stevie is on top of her game... This CD is proof and I can't wait for the solo tour!
