Love
Why did they release this?

I understand why this was unreleased, so bad and I love Jeff Buckely. I am sure he would not have released it, his voice on most songs is painful to listen to. Sorry I am a great fan
sounds like he never left us.

these demos and sessions are outstanding! no question there. Mojo Pin and Eternal Life are one of my faves from Grace. of course i'd buy this album too. his voice is as natural as the studio versions. Jeff Buckley remaining as one of the best vocalists <3
Where do they get this stuff??

Surprising how much material they can unearth - good for them though. Just quit when you've released all the good stuff.
Love Jeff... But I don't think he would approve

There was a reason they chose the sine tracks over these in the first place. Jeff was an amazing talent, but these recording are of a very young man trying to find his voice. I don't believe Jeff would approve of this release. Why not release his WFMU recordings where he was razor sharp and in his element. 5 stars because Jeff is the best there was.
OKAY

His father was infinitely more original and talented.
Haunting

When they talk about haunting music, I always think of something like new age, space music, ect. But this is haunting music. An artist that had a lot to offer gone from us too soon. And yet he can still speak to us even today. So similiar to when we lost his father way to soon.
So really Unreal

What a treat to hear Jeff in a studio setting when he's still so happy and full of life. Before the world got to him. Hopefully they will release more from these sessions of which about 25-40 tracks still remain.
