I'm a huge Bill Frisell fan and bought this without bothering to listen to any samples. The music here didn't let me down. Beautiful Dreamer gives you some of the standard Frisell we've all come to expect, but there's also plenty of new sounds on the album. You can tell he's exploring some different directions with this trio. Gets better with repeated listening.
  • one listen was all it took for me to buy this gem!

No one active today has the range and subtle touch of Bill.....really admire his playing in a broad range of styles. This record is a real sleeper - have been listening all morning and with every pass I pick up more. I'll live with this for a long, long time....
